Until I made my last post with the Monkey and Mouse hat patterns I did not realize this on had been sitting in my drafts. Ugg, I should quit using drafts

I found this great forum for crocheters called Crochetville.  They have a board where you can publish your own original patterns and they board is loaded with awesome crochet ideas.  Although it is hard for me to spend much time there at this time of year I did save several posts to my favorites and look forward to after gardening season so I can spend more time there because the people are so helpful and the TALENT there!

This pattern was published in the free original crochet patterns board.  It is a crochet owl hat in toddler size but would, of course, be easy to make larger/smaller if desired.
